Yves Brunier 1962-1991

A tragically short career for this talented Frenchman. A wan-a-be architect who was persuaded to take up Landscape Architect by his colleague Rem Koolhaas at OMA and worked on the Villa dall` Ava and Museumpark in Rotterdam. He also had a spell with Jean Nouvel in Paris

It was offer commented by others that he was aggressive in his design and the use of colour. that no one can say for sure. I am a real fan of his style though. His use of collages are an effective dynamic and create real depth. There`s a real sense of realism and a real vibrancy with the use of colour and the style of hatching used. The way he manages to produce such interest in the design is intriguing, it makes mw want to just keep looking to try and find more detail. Added to this is the style employed in his models- I want keep adding to it.

If Jamie were to ask me if there is a style I would like to replicate then this is it.
